A family practice for Midland families

Dental Sense has been providing quality, affordable dental care to Midland and the City of Swan for almost 30 years.

Our story

Who we are

Dental Sense is a family owned and run dental clinic in the heart of Midland. Principal dentist Dr Nicole Hocek and Brett Wilson lead a team of 8 Australian-trained dentists, all graduates of the University of Western Australia.

We built this practice on a simple idea: dental care should be sensible. That means honest treatment recommendations, clear explanations, and a calm environment for patients who feel nervous about visiting the dentist.

Our clinic is easy to reach from Guildford, Bassendean, Midvale, Swan View, Middle Swan, Stratton, Helena Valley and surrounding suburbs. We have free patient parking right at the door and we are open 6 days a week, including late on Tuesday nights.

Community

Giving back to the City of Swan

We believe a healthy community starts with healthy teeth. That is why we run free dental education sessions for young children in local day care centres, kindergartens and primary schools. Our staff have delivered these sessions for over 6 years and currently run about one per fortnight.

We also donate oral hygiene bags to Midland Women's Health Care Place and the local women's refuge, and we take on pro-bono dental cases referred through trusted not-for-profit partners. These patients receive full treatment and ongoing preventative care at no cost.

For community organisations supporting homeless people in the Swan region, we recommend contacting St Patrick's Community Centre on 08 6372 4800. For government dental services, contact the Swan Government Dental Clinic on 08 9274 0099.
