We are preferred providers for major health funds and bulk bill eligible Medicare and Veterans Affairs treatments. Payment plans are available when you need them.
Health funds
We process claims on the spot through HICAPS and are preferred providers for:
- HBF (Member Plus)
- HCF (More for Teeth)
- NIB (First Choice) – also covers Qantas Assure, GU Health, Suncorp, APIA, AAMI
- CBHS (Choice Network)
- HIF (Choice Network)
- Smile.com.au – also covers Frank, Australian Unity, GMHBA, Peoplecare, AIA, Health.com.au, Healthcare Insurance, My Own
HIF Choice Network benefits at our clinic include 2 free check-ups and cleans per year, gap-free consultations, and discounts on other preventative treatment. CBHS Choice Network members can claim 100% back on common preventative procedures including check-ups, scale and cleans, fluoride treatment, mouthguards and fissure seals.
Bulk billing
We bulk bill the following eligible patients:
Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule
Dental Sense Midland is a registered provider for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule. We bulk bill all eligible general dental treatment up to the $1,000 limit for children on Family Tax Benefit A or B.
Veterans Affairs Gold Card holders
We bulk bill all Department of Veterans Affairs Gold Card holders. This means no gap or out-of-pocket cost for your treatment.

We understand budgets differ. That is why we offer a range of payment options.
Afterpay
Pay for your treatment in 4 equal instalments over 6 weeks. No interest. Available to Australian residents who meet Afterpay's criteria.
ZipMoney
A buy-now-pay-later option that lets you split dental costs into manageable instalments.
Denticare
A formal dental payment plan with structured repayments.
Fund My Dental
